to a balloon animal,
and I think I’m a balloon animal, too—
a pull-my-right-arm-my-left-arm-shrinks
kind of shape shifter—
I’m a liar,
I don’t want to tell her
I feel just as heavy
as I did our first session,
and I won’t take medication,
I’m floating out
of my body.
